The Greene County Emergency Communications Center is under the direction of the Sheriff’s Office. Our center has a great staff of Communication Officers. The Center currently has 11 full-time and 3 part-time employees. The Communication Center is setup with 4 consoles and is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to serve the citizens of the community. The Center uses a Cad System through DaPro-Systems software and Eagle Mapping System. These systems combined assist in directing all county emergency provided services to an address quickly and accurately. Training plays a big role in providing excellent service, and some of the classes the Communications Officers have attended or in the process of attending are as follows:
